All ICBMedia, ICBUIs and ICBUXs are created with ICBOCD Design in mind. ICBOCD design prioritizes precision, coherence and perfection. The principles of ICBOCD design are as follows:

  1. ISO standard date/time format across all our services (YYYY/MM/DD-HH:MM:SS).
  2. Superset always nests subset (i.e. “maths, equation, quadratic” over “maths, quadratic, equation” since “quadratic” is a subset of “equation” and not vice versa).
  3. Removal of odd numbers unless necessary and give preference to multiples of 10.
  4. Material design (extends Google Material Design principles).
  5. Coherent grammar and precise linguistic syntax (i.e. preference to “the alarm went on so we turned it off” over using “the alarm went off so we turned it off“).
  6. We closely track all ISO standards (except political ones, i.e. ISO26000, which we whole heartedly reject as we are a company based on merit and not modern sociology).
